Punishes you for not running red lights or avoiding accidents – State Farm® Review

If you stop to not run a red light and have to brake harder than a slow glide to a stop you are punished severely in the app. You also get punished for not slamming into a car but breaking hard when someone cuts you off Guessing this is intentional to make sure nobody can actually get the full discount
