Was an enjoyable game – Paradise Island 2: Resort Sim Review

I’ve played this game for a few years now and want to finally leave a review. I’ll be getting a new phone in a few months and it’s highly unlikely that I will download this game again. When I first started playing this game it was very enjoyable! You could expand easily and buildings didn’t break down very often. You could also complete the quests with minimal real cash & only using normally collected resources. Now I’ve noticed over the last 3 to 4 holiday quests it requires upwards of $30 or more in real cash to acquire the necessary resources to complete the quest. I used to complete them with little or no cash. I have several games with in-app purchasing power and this one is by far the most expensive. For the most part every other game gives you a subscription option where you get rewards daily plus extra for different activities you complete for a nominal fee. Or the cost of special resources is small. This game has become exorbitant in the money it wants. From the overly expensive expansions, the buildings breaking down daily, the cost of wondershop resources steadily increasing (now 500.000 coins as a base), to having to spend 1500-4500 crystals for building “deals” it’s become ridiculous. So needless to say I’m disappointed with this game. It’s not fun anymore and there’s not much reward for playing.
