Pretty good game but having trouble with the giant – Dead Cells Review

I have been playing this game for awhile now and beaten the game on 4 boss cell difficulty, which was hard. The only problem I have is that after I beat the hand of the king, the giant hasn’t been active yet and I don’t understand why.
