I love this game. – Arknights Review

I love this game so much. The grind feels rewarding when you’re promoting characters and I haven’t ever felt like there’s no way I can advance even with low tier (3*) characters if I’m careful. Some stages have been so frustratingly hard that they’ve taken hours especially since I’m bad at strategy games, but the second you DO get it and win? It feels amazing. I do somewhat wish autodeploy was just instant but the way it works not encourages you to ‘optimize’ stages you replay for easier farming which is nice and fix the ones you barely scraped by in to learn what went wrong. I’m still so confused which is why I wish I could talk to other players. I’d like to learn from others, but it’s trial and error for the time being! I love this game. I really, really do. It even feels fun leveling up lower tier characters to while I prep for the bigger stages / advancement. I love this! At least they have guys in the game this time, something that games like this sorely lack. I hope that one day there is a “sweet guy” character that’s actual high stars/tier. They are the most elusive of all. A girl can dream. My wallet is safe. Seriously though, please don’t make this another 99% waifu game and make some interesting (6/5 star, actually useful) male characters too. Thanks!
