Smart App – Receipt Hog: Shopping Rewards Review

I’d be lying if I didn’t say I appreciate the option to trade my earned coins for PayPal$$ Or a surprisingly good amount on a VISA Gift Card or an Amazon Gift Card a couple of times a year. I’m not getting rich, but my nephews sure like getting correspondence from me several times a year & also thank me for enclosing a gift card! (Snail Mail still is a great service!) I’m also on the top of their “Who’s the BEST uncle list” which makes me smile. But truthfully, after doc/nurse mistakes equals 4 strokes over the last 7 years. I’m a survivor, but struggle w/what the strokes took from me. Stroke #1 took my ability to speak/sign/write in 4 languages. Stroke #2 took away not just my numbers, but my ability to tell time, read a calendar & keep track of the days of the week! Worse of all was using Math as a language. I tutored Middle School students in Math & used it as a para or teacher’s aide. I was almost done paying off my student loan for a double degree. Worse of all, I’d work in various types of News-TV/Radio/Paper; all together they added up to nearly 20 years of Great Fun & hundreds of thousands of hours of traveling across America covering all types of stories; telecommunications, sporting events, natural disasters & politics. Without numbers, my FCC 1st Class License in Radio/TV Engineer to Broadcast became a “fancy piece of paper” luckily I still have photos & friends to share my memories. Memories of a week at an earthquake to scooping CNN 2X on a big international stories, 3 Super Bowls & 4 (2Dem/2Rep) Presidential Conventions to mention a few stories I covered. I use this app to not only to record & help me track my life/house/vehicle expenses. I’ve find it essential for my faulty Stroke Brain. Best of all I’ve been able to recover my ability to balance my checking account (YaY!) I recommend this app to friends, but most importantly when ever I come across another Stroke Survivor. Yes this app has a few bugs, but I’ve discovered the people running it are open to emails of complaints. I’d say 99.9% my issues are resolved & leave a smile on my face. I love my Hogs-a piggy bank not just for pennies, but experience/record of a valuable part of my life: my economic life! Thank you for everyone responsible for creating this app; balancing my bank account is now fun & keeping myself to live w/in my means is priceless! (I’ll say thanks from my nephews too-those gift cards are a wonderful way for me to give them a reward for making the Honor Roll to earning not 1, but each of earned 2 black belts as high schoolers!) I can’t single out the best part of this app, but I’ll reiterate that Living in disability (below the poverty line) allows me to give those 2 young men, both all stars in school & life, an occasional treat, thank you-please don’t drop that part of this app! Sincerely, Zak R Stephens
