Great game, but pay to play – Grim Soul: Survival Magic RPG Review

I really want to like this game. It’s challenging, and the concept is fun, and I like the multiplayer aspect. But it is clearly engineered to be pay-to-play, and $10/week is ridiculous. What’s the point of finding weapons or armor if they wear out in one day? What’s the point in finding a loot stash only to have a beast monster come in and kill you as soon as you loot it? The $3 starter pack I bought was worn out (ie gone) after only two zones. BS. Not to mention, not being able to craft or manage inventory without some monster coming across the map to kill you while you try to build yourself a new weapon which broke from the last five monsters... I really want to like this game, but instead I deleted it.
