Will not be using the App again – Nordstrom Rack: Shop Deals Review

ITEMS IN YOUR CART TIME OUT WITHOUT EFFICIENT NOTIFICATION. I had 4 items in my cart, one that I really wanted for $15 and the others I had added as impulse buys. As I was entering my payment information the item I wanted most timed out and was removed, but instead of it disappearing or a notification of its removal popping up it just had a few small words added to the area immediately under the photo of the item. Since I was busy entering my payment info, I never even noticed the time-out removal. I cheerfully hit the button to complete shipment of my four items only to be informed that the one item I really wanted was no longer in my order (but lucky for me it was still showing in my cart... sarcasm). I could not find a way to add it to my order, so I called customer support. Customer support told me I would have to order the single item separately with a separate shipping fee... unless I wanted to add the order up with new items to get to their free shipping limit. They said the only other option they had, since they couldn’t add the one item into my order, was to cancel the entire order and start from scratch. Rather than paying almost $8.00 in shipping for a $15.00 item, I chose to cancel the entire order and will go find the item I really wanted at a different store. Had there been a pop-up notification that my item had timed out before I hit confirm shipment I could have avoided the entire unpleasant experience and saved myself a precious 1/2 hour.
