Enjoyed it but some mixed feelings – Lost Echo Review
The characters, conversations, story telling and camera movements make this feel like a movie. The graphics are great in atmosphere and lighting, albeit old fashioned (stick like figures and mechanical movements for ex.). The commands involve an ungodly amount of clicking through conversations, which consist of the majority of the game as the puzzles are ok but few. I initially found this very annoying. I did enjoy the story which had clever elements and ideas, but it ended leaving questions unanswered, without quite developing or resolving what it introduces - which is a shame because there is more storytelling to this than playing.
It grew on me, but just as it was getting good, it faded. I hope there’s a sequel.
