Cumbersome – Simple Songwriter Review

Cumbersome and quirky at best! I think some of these reviews must be insider... I’m a Pro w/ ProTools studio and I make my living in music. By the time you get a short idea down your inspiration will be gone. There is no count off for recording- the 1st metronome sound is “it”. I resorted to leaving a bar up front. That’s works…. there are no directions or manual for the Simple Songwriter. I think it’s called Simple due to the fact that it’s nearly impossible to do what you need to do. The chord choices are decent (Full diatonic chord scale with an added b7 and b3 chord in Major) But it’d be nice to have a 2nd page of the parallel minor chords, or something extra just because those are usually the cool chords. Still it’s cool as is… What really bothers me is after you get an idea down there is no punching in to continue the song. So if you recorded a cool verse idea you have to start a new song in order to carry on. Now this morning all my songs are jumbled together. (they all play at once….) Lame!
