Buggy, buggy, buggy. – BRO: Chat, Friends, and Fun Review

And half-baked: - Notifications of new messages or replies often arrive late (if at all). Often I have no notifications or badges at all, but as soon I launch the app, suddenly I see "new" messages that were sent to me a day or more in the past. - Badges don't reliably appear when messages arrive (and don't reliably disappear when messages are read). This applies to badges on the app's main icon as well as the red dots that appear next to various sections *within* the app. - Instead of a carriage return, allowing you to add space between paragraphs, there's a second (redundant) send button where the carriage return should be. As a result, when typing, it's incredibly easy to accidentally send an incomplete message by tapping the areas where pretty much every other app in existence has the RETURN button. - After sending a message, there's a long delay before it appears in the conversation. - Messages you've started to type often disappear before being sent. They literally just vanish, requiring you to retype the message. - Scrolling within a typed message (to edit it) doesn't work properly. Works fine in other apps. - No undo for profiles accidentally swiped left or right. (Other apps have undo.) - Profile text is truncated when displayed, and there's no visual indicator that a given text field contains more text than initially displayed. (I discovered this by accidentally tapping some text in a profile, and it scrolled, revealing more text.) - The purpose of a "Bromance" is not explained. - When a profile features multiple photos, there's no indication of additional photos unless you first tap on the main photo. THEN indicators appear. Indicators should appear on main profile. Having to tap to reveal them is silly. - Very often, a user's city and his distance don't match—and there's no explanation. Is the person traveling? Or is the app just wrong? No info is provided. With the number of bugs that I encounter DAILY, the 4- and 5-star reviews for this app are truly baffling. One wonders if there's something fishy going on here. I've reported these issues to the developer (some more than once—including when I first installed it *6 months* ago). Yet, not one bug has been fixed. As such, I can only conclude that the developer simply doesn't care.
