Game glitch? – GRIS Review

I absolutely love the game so far! It’s beautiful and interesting and the controls work great! But I’m stuck in the forest where you knock down the apple for the little creature and it shows you a secret hole, but it won’t work. I keep knocking the apple down and it eats it but never opens the hole.
