Pretty Good – Fisherman Review

I like this game, and my favorite part is when I catch new fish. I just wish it was easier to do so. When you first start the game, you have all these new fish, ready for you to catch, but as you progress in the game, it becomes much harder to reach the fish closer to the bottom. I do like that on most levels, there is a gap leading to the bottom, allowing you to catch deeper fish if you throw your rod just right, but that normally doesn’t even help. A lot of the time, my line lands in the gap, and one of the faster fish from the top swims down and snags my line. I get very annoyed when this happens, because most of the time I’m right about to catch a new fish. So, I go to the shop, looking for a lure or a rod that’ll get my line to sink lower, but all the affordable ones only increase the line depth by a meter (which is like a centimeter on your screen), therefore, not helping you to catch any fish. The ones that do help however, are much to expensive, with coin prices up to 20000 (fake money, you earn it in the game). The only way to earn that kind of money, is to catch humongous fish, which sell for more, and the only way to catch the humongous fish, is by getting your line to go deeper. So, I am stuck in an endless loop of only catching basic fish worth three or four coins. Another problem I’d like to complain about, is that when you cast your rod, sometimes it only goes a short ways into the water, where fish that I have no intention of catching await. When this happens, I have to catch the boring fish, therefore, consuming the short time limit I have. Speaking of which, I do also wish that the time limit was longer, maybe two minutes? Then you would have more time to clear the fish you don’t want out of the way, and expose the newer ones at the bottom. This concludes my review, and I hope to see some change in the game, but I understand if changes may not be made.
