No support for sharing/uploading videos in fb or messenger? – Friendly Plus Social Browser Review

I love the small footprint. About 45mb installed vs nearly 500mb for FB’s bloated apps. I like that it weeds out most of the ads. (Wish it would do the same when I click a story link). It doesn’t constantly refresh in the middle of reading or commenting the way the FB app does, so that’s a BIG plus (it does occasionally crash though). And it also includes some support for Instagram and Twitter, which makes it a decent all-around app for the casual user who is short on storage space for their phone or tablet. But like I mentioned in the title, it doesn’t allow me to upload videos to FB or in messenger. Not even live photos or animated gifs! What?! It displays them greyed out when I try. That is a dealbreaker for me. Then, within the app, to play a video, or a gif, I can’t just click play. I have to click it, then it opens in a different view. Then click it again to actually make it load. Then click it yet again to play. Why??? And if I want to share a clip to a friend by message? Nope. A cute animation? Nope. Still-photos only. And the messenger part also has some awkward areas. It doesn’t load at the most recent messages. It loads a few messages back, so that you have to scroll to even get to the comment box, which is not static but remains at the end of the messages, making it impossible to scroll up to refer back to something that was said, and keep it in view while continuing the conversation. In addition to poor video support, it handles photos awkwardly within the app. For example if I want to zoom in on a photo it first makes me download it? I don’t want to download it I just want to zoom in!!! And if a person has more than a few photos in a post, there is no way to view any more than the first few. Instead of allowing you to scroll through the ones after the “+3 more” it just pretends they don’t exist. Or it will scroll through other photos posted by that user or page but NOT remaining ones in that post! This right here, along with not being able to post videos, are the two major reasons I am reinstalling FB instead of continuing to use this app that I paid for.
