iPad Pro 11 inch not supported – Osmo World Review

My son got this as his big gift for Christmas. When I set it up, I was made aware by the site that the iPad Pro 11 inch is not supported, but the 10.5 inch is. How does this make any sense?? It’s on the same OS, just with a slightly bigger screen, and that ruins the Osmo software’s ability to function? My son is very disappointed, as are we that this is advertised for iPad but doesn’t work with 2 versions, one of which is the one we own.
