Please Update Decorating Mechanics – Restaurant Story Review

Every time I go to decorate my restaurant, if I choose an item that is no longer being sold , after placing the item on the floor, the selection menu goes all the way to the beginning. Please fix this. It it is too time consuming to go back and forth thru the entire menu just to keep adding items in my storage. Other items i can easily place down and then pick right back up in the menu . Please update this, it has been a problem for years.
