Very repetitive, no variety and little actual strategy involved – Pirates! Showdown Review

This game will certainly entertain for hours however, it is very repetitive and is more akin to a free flash game. The game play is essentially a stripped down tower defense except the player, for some odd reason controls when new ships spawn. The game completely lacks depth and can be beaten with little effort or thought. Additionally, this game is not at all optimized and despite its PS1 era graphics, drains my battery way too fast. No substance, just a time waster. I’d recommend that you don’t buy this game for the reasons listed previously.
