Data does not appear to be encrypted – Money Monitor: Expense Tracker Review

Money Monitor 1) Data does not appear to be encrypted, the app can be password protected by a 4-digit code and Touch ID but could not find a statement saying the data is encrypted. 2) Passcode allowed is only 4-digits, length allowable should be up to 12-digits with the option to use an alphanumeric code instead. 3) A lot of text causes scrolling a long note to freeze when trying to view the note initially. You have to press the return key, then you can scroll. This makes the app think you are editing the note when you’re not. 4) Default View: Transactions, changing the view to week does not stick. Always defaults to Day view. 5) Can only import one image. If the developer could verify the data is encrypted in transit and at rest would go a long way in terms of security. Fixing the passcode length is needed as well. Scrolling of a long note can be done but it should not be in editing mode to do it.
