Had Potential – Ninja Shadow / Shall we date? Review

I actually quite like the story and the MC. It’s interesting and fun to follow even with it’s formatting mistakes and occasional typos. However of all the Otome games I’ve played and especially from the Shall We Date series this is by far the stingiest one. Other games reward you with daily log in bonuses of up to 5 free tickets on select days while in this game you are lucky to come across a piece of a story ticket.. which you need a few of.. to be able to exchange for one free story ticket.. that can only be exchanged once per day. This is the same for the in game currency Jade which you can collect around 13 of every 10 days max (to get the premium items for the sweet ending you will need over 200 jade per route) There are no daily reward missions for completing tasks. And even if you purchase story tickets (which can cost up to $100 if you pay $100 for $145 story tickets or $145 if you pay one at a time) and complete a route you are unable to reread the story. You can reread select chapters if you pay the premium (50 cents to around 10 dollars additional per chapter) and will also get a picture in an album ranging in various art qualities. The quality of the story/album/items is just not worth that amount of money. If you find yourself addicted to these kind of games I would not recommend playing this sleazy exploitative game and wasting your money. However if you like these kind of games and are okay with just a few minutes of free story a day then give it a try!
