Splitting into FourSquare/Swarm was a bad idea – Foursquare Swarm: Check-in App Review

FourSquare COULD have been better than Yelp and Travelocity as it combined all the benefits of each in a nice package. Splitting into 2 separate apps was really the beginning of the end. To be fair, every loyal user of FourSquare at the time knew it and even predicted as much but the management at 4S continued it anyways. Since then I’ve seen a steady decline of users until it’s basically just a few friends from the original group left. It got really annoying that I had to go back and forth between the 2 apps just to see more reviews that I ended up just deleting FourSquare. It’s just a matter of time before I end up deleting Swarm as the fun factor of checking in and spending the coins on discounts and other stickers is gone.
