PARENTS READ THIS FIRST – My Virtual Pet Dog: Pug Louie Review

I downloaded this game two days ago for my toddler because she loves these types of animal games. She’d played it with no problems until last night when she was laying in bed with me playing in the app when a picture of Momo popped up in an ad. I quickly exited out of it for her only for it to appear again a few moments later. I’ve never seen her so frightened in my life and it was traumatizing for both her and me as a parent to have to see that kind of fear in my daughter. For the rest of the night she wouldn’t let go of me, she was panicking looking all around, scared to death and I had to keep reassuring her that it wasn’t real. She’s now scared of the phone altogether and has been experiencing from panic attacks. While this may not be directly related to the app itself since it’s an “ad”, I still hold the app itself responsible for not better regulating the ads it’s audience (which targets young children) are bound to see. There’s also other questionable ads for apps I don’t think are entirely suitable for young children. Unfortunately I had to delete the game simply because of the inappropriate ads. If it wasn’t for that it would get 5 stars because my daughter loved the game!
