Ice expansion update... – Kingdom Rush Vengeance TD Game Review

First off, base game is 5 out of 5, until you updated to the “Ice Queen”. I like challenges, what i don't like: areas that weren’t paths, that get turned into paths. You have done this in a few levels, to where it’s more of twitch chore, than a game. I like up-ticks in challenge, but what I, and many others do not like are: “cheap shots”. I find that i am left more frustrated than satisfied with path changing elements, i dont like having to repeat a level with a better rating, when i could be satisfied and rewarded with good building placement. If you are going to switch up where enemies are going to go, then please give incentive to switch gears, otherwise, it’s just an annoying feature. Please, don't be stupid with challenge, it’s unrewarding. Have some alternate special buildings for new paths and perhaps more buildings to plant along those paths, touch screen is pain as it is, especially when the “hero's” get in the way of it. Other than that great game. Update: The newest DLC monsters are too over the top and as others have said, “breaks the mechanics”. You make monsters that require items from the market to win and that is BS! I understand it should be ‘easier’ by definition to do so but getting those items you either: GRIND or PAY MONEY. I already bought the game and another “Hero” and ALL your dumb, expensive TOWERS. You guys are the reason games on Steam have tons of replicas of trash content to tempt you to buy extra stuff. Why can’t you just sell the whole game at a base price? What is with the pay wall obfuscation? Another star removed!
