No longer recommending – Wisdo: Mental Health & Support Review

I myself have struggled with mental health for quite some time. After enduring repetitive panic attacks, I came across the app Wisdo, which was being advertised on YouTube. It was perfect, since I was battling sever panic attacks every day at this point. **Mind you, I also receive professional help** Once creating my Wisdo account, I thought to myself “How amazing, an app that can actually work to help me feel not so alone!” The app was great, I made a friend that I still stay in contact with, and we’ve helped each other out a lot, and for that I thank your brand. I was all for this app! I was basically an unpaid advocate for Wisdo. I redownloaded the app after getting a new phone and was very disappointed to see that you have resulted to only focusing on the financial gain. Doing so will make this app only accessible to a specific demographic; therefor, defeating it’s purpose. This was one of the best apps out regarding mental health, creating connections or sharing experiences/advice. Instead of charging a monthly fee (which is ridiculous since most real issues can never be resolved in a month) you can add a price to the app in the App Store. For ex: $00.90 per download. I can see why you have so little growth with your app. Remember, it’s a competitive market out there. I also read your responses to other comments regarding the same thing, but the “Free 7 day trial” did not work. You said that the users required you to make this change, but I don’t believe that even in the slightest. I feel deeply for all the people you have simply pushed to the side in order to draw in those of a specific demographic. I will no longer use or recommend this app for now, and I’ll be sure to leave an extensive review. Thank you for reading.
