iPad controls don’t work with fast moves – The Talos Principle Review

This game is amazing, and most of the time (using brain over brawn) it’s very satisfying to solve. But there are certain levels such as Egyptian Arcade that just don’t work with the tap and swipe controls on iPad. I’ve tried dozens of times to get past the first gate and been thrown back to the episode beginning. I’ve checked the YouTube solutions and they were all accomplished using the original controller. Tap and swipe is not fast enough, and the alternative built in iPad game controller not accurate enough. There is no possibility I can see of achieving this level and if I can’t, then I ultimately can’t succeed. There are other levels with the same issue. I’m not the youngest, nor the most dexterous, player, so I was looking for a game that doesn’t demand ultra-fast reflexes. I thought I had found it until I reached the levels that I can’t solve by my wits alone, and what was an amazing game has become frustrating. I wish there was an alternative solution or a bypass button.
