Just like classic DOOM – Doom's Knight Review

My original review gave it 5 stars, but after playing it more, I have to give it 3 stars because it doesn't save properly. When they fix that, it will be a 5 star app. The way it is now, if you save and keep playing, it will save ok. But if you exit the app and go back in, you are back to the start of level 1, and you have to start all over again at the beginning, with no weapons or ammo. This means you can only play as far into the game as you can play in one sitting, or else start a higher level with no ammo or weapons. It also does not save your option settings. Once you exit and go back in, you have to reset all your options every time you play it. -------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you like the original DOOM, you'll probably like this. Same controls, FPS format as doom. Some of these other doom knockoffs are rail shooters or RP, but not this one. Once you've shot up all the levels on iPad doom, try this great app with new monsters, sounds, music.
