Great Potential - Not quite there yet – eDrawings Pro Review

This app has come in handy on several occasions when showing models to clients and for meetings. It’s a bit cumbersome and could certainly use Apple Pencil support as well as a better AR tool. Unfortunately, the UI needs a lot of work, configurations don’t load well, surface textures don’t appear, and up until last month, it no longer recognizes my files since it only supports up to 2019 and I’m already at 2020. Hopefully SolidWorks will throw some more support behind this because it does come in handy at times. Would be nice if you could export drawings as PDF’s, models as .STP or .XT, use Apple’s AR kit to show case models for customers (and include texture support), and maybe, just maybe, since we’re already paying customers, include a version that would allow for model creation and not just be a viewer. My iPad Pro handles the models and assemblies just fine and the hardware is only getting better.
