Effect RES Is a Lie. – Onmyoji Review

Taking back everything I said. Game looks great, but is horribly unbalanced in PVP. Everyone just abuses effect hit on CC shikis like Higanbana, Kiyohime, Menreiki, etc. All broken, all stop you from playing the game. Think about it. If your characters can never move even with Effect Resistance souls and buffs, you’re basically not playing the game. And if they don’t me to play the game because my characters are always frozen, asleep, stunned, confused, then I guess that’s that. I hadn’t seen how broken CC builds are until recently and I am removing everything I ever praised this game for. Awful balancing. Instead of releasing new shikis to counter the old ones, why don’t you just ACTUALLY BALANCE THEM. The hits are too guaranteed on AoE CC shikis and the single-target CC shikis have effects that last FOREVER, as in even when they die you’re still being put to sleep permanently until the round ends. Awful balancing on crowd control. Absolutely terrible. Nothing is worse than not being able to play the game because no one is allowed to make a single move.
