It doesn’t accept US credit cards – DiDi: Ride Hailing in China Review

I entered a USA issued credit card for payment but it kept asking for WeChat or AliPay. App kept refusing me to call for a ride without one of those payment methods. I decided to call for a taxi and pay cash. What is the point of this app when I can get a taxi without this app.
