Horrible Japanese! – Cute Baby Flash Cards Lite : an educational app for kids in preschool and Kindergarten! Learn to identify animals, things, words, colors, count numbers and the alphabet! Review

The Japanese option is so horrible, it would be better to not have it at all. Words are outright wrong or English borrowings are used for words that are not at all borrowed into Japanese, and worst of all, the pronunciation is downright painful to listen to (as a native speaker of Japanese)!!! I wanted to use it for languages I'm learning, but when I heard the Japanese, I couldn't trust what I was seeing or hearing in the languages I don't know well. So I uninstalled it. I like the concept, but I'm afraid it's not reliable as an educational tool at all. :( I'm not sure about exposing young children to poor pronunciation and wrong words, either.
