Some suggestions – The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt Review

First things first: I love this game!!!!!!!! It is better than any other sailing game around...except for the pirates of the Caribbean online, may it Rest In Peace. Keep everything that is already there, because it is amazing.... just add some more features if possible. Some more song options would be amazing. The current music is nice, but after the first dozen rounds, it kind of wears on the ears. Shanties would be an excellent addition for cruising around the Caribbean. If sailors could also be more specific in giving directions that would be helpful. More personal design options like figure heads, flag shape, and custom design for each shop would be a nice touch. Also being able to choose where the flags fly on both ships and fortresses would be cool. I also like the idea of needing to hire captains to sail your ships (except for initial captured vessels) would limit how many ships you could sail with and be more realistic. At the beginning of the game, being able to choose whether to start of as a pirate or pirate hunter would be cool and that later you could change sides. It would be nice to have better control of the guns. The only choice is a broadside and it is a shame to use so many cannon balls from a big ship on a tiny one. Being able to choose how many guns fire, their angle of fire, and the direction ( from stern to bow or bow to stern or amidships out) would be more efficient in attacking other vessels. Another control feature to add would be formation options for the fleet. A player can choose wether ships attack, don’t move, flee or follow is ok, but it would be better to do more. During battles, The other ships sail around willinilly and they only attack in circles. Being able to choose where ships are in a formation would allow battles to be structured. It is really cool that the player can send ships on missions without actually having to sail them from one port to the next, but it would be nice to direct them on what merchandise to seek or what ships to attack would make building a naval empire easier. In plague of the dead, a player can sail into port and the fortress can cover them if they are under attack, but not in Caribbean hunt. I would greatly appreciate if that were fixed. For ports, I would like to see the citizens moving around. Nothing fancy, something along the lines of AOE3. It would be cosmetically pleasing to see, rather than twigs standing still. One final request: it would be nice if a player could walk around on both the ship and the land. All we can do is search for treasure. Being able to be near the front of the ship or the side during a battle would be epic! Also walking around the buildings or going shopping for supplies at the buildings would make a better player experience. I understand that this is a huge request and not a simple one, but I believe it would make the game better and no other game on the market is doing it very well. Please give these suggestions a real consideration. Thanks!
