AWESOME GAME!! ..but.. – DemonSouls (Action RPG) Review

*UPDATE FOR OCT 16, 2019: I had played this game twice through before, deleted it for a while, then reinstalled and have been taking it easy since reinstalling. I have just come across a major glitch towards the end of the game after the Earth Goddess’ death where you must activate the last World Pillar. Well I just collected the Water Demon Soul and I am unable to progress any further no matter how many times I attempt to speak to the Miracle Man or try interacting with the Water Pedestal which the two girls are blocking the sides to. I do not know what I have done wrong here, if anything, but I now find myself in a position where I must either restart or delete the game and lose ALL of my progress or just try waiting and hope it gets fixed soon. I really do enjoy playing the game and it’s fun for passing the time with. It’s just sad that I cannot get past this one point so I can face the final boss. I have noticed some other glitches including the Weapon and Armor collection guides only showing a small number of the unlock-able/ craft-able items and what also appears to be 50 achievement points worth missing from the list of available achievements [what is the missing achievement(s)?]. I have attempted to look up how to contact the developer and I am having ZERO luck with that! The in-game contact buttons won’t even bring up ANYTHING so I can send any messages to the development team. Had this game been tossed aside despite its still lingering potential to become something MORE?! I HOPE NOT! Hopefully somebody from the development team will see this and start work on at least fixing this glitch with the Water Pedestal at the last World Pillar before the final boss. I really don’t like the idea of having taken so much time to get to where I am at now only to lose all of my progress over something like this.. Thank you. ————————————————— *Old Review: I'd give this 5 stars, but when I reached the end of the game, it felt like I spent more time level grinding and item collecting rather than enjoy an immersive story. And when I started a new game from my previous play through, I did retain all the items, gold, demon souls, and soulstones I had by the end of the game and even gained small attribute point and soulstone bonuses. The downside however is all the levels and most of the attribute points I had gained from level grinding were GONE!! Add to this, the level requirement to use the best armor and weapon I have is 55, I CANNOT use either until I reach that level again.. Then there are the levels of the Demon Soul Jar and Recovery Potion.. I raised each to level 3, but in the new game, they each dropped to level 1. It may not seem like a big drop, however in order to level up these two items, you must invest soulstones which are at best scarce if you do not invest real life money. I give this game a rating of 4 stars in the hopes it is either updated or a sequel is made based off the best ending in the game, whichever that may be. And hopefully, the update or sequel will have improved features like a more extensive story and an additional option to start a new game that would at least allow the player to retain his or her characters level and attribute points for those who aren't to big on level grinding from level 1. Perhaps there could even be mini games that players can unlock that would allow us to acquire rare items, gold, soulstones, demon souls, and any extras that might be added like music. Perhaps there could even be new achievements added that are each unlocked by reaching a specific ending. And if there could, I'd like to see a guide of either made at some point that could help players navigate the multiple endings for those of us who have trouble unlocking all of them.
