Good try... – Lost on Infinity – Audiobook 1 Review

I'm not saying it's terrible. I think it started out as a great idea. Kids can enjoy musicals just as much as anyone. I think Disney has proved that. However the switch from animation to still photos is distracting. Some parts are beautifully drawn or animated while others look like they ran out of time and through it together. The narrator has a wonderful voice that fits wonderfully. The songs lack in my opinion. The lyrics try to hard to rhyme. They sound as if they were written by someone in the fourth grade. They also go on for much to long. Maybe if thy were better written it wouldn't feel that way. For example a green moth saying he may be green but his nose is clean. Is that a cheap rhyme or a booger joke gone wrong? Either way I think this is on to something just not quite right. I watched the free version but refuse to pay $5 to see part 2. Maybe $1.99 at most. I think it would have more buys and more reviews if it were less expensive and a bit more care in the making. I see a few people really enjoyed it and so did their kids. I'm glad. To each his own.
