I deleted it after the first experience! – Parking Panda Review

I was traveling in San Francisco, I had a meeting in downtown SF on a weekday afternoon. So I reserved a parking spot for 7 hours from Parking Panda. It was my first time using the app. I got there on time, the garage guy told me that they were full, they could not let me in. I told him that I have a reservation, he didn’t care just tell me to leave! I said but I already paid, he told me to cancel it and schedule a refund with Parking Panda but they had no clue how to do it. I was stuck in downtown SF with my car. I checked the app, there was no button for cancel or refund. I saw another parking garage right next to the one I went to, and it showed that there were available spots to reserve. But because of the first experience I didn’t trust the app, so I went to that second garage and asked, they told me they were full too! The Parking Panda app showed that it’s available to book despite there being no spot available! Finally I was late to my meeting and end up paying an expensive parking fee in downtown. I called the phone number, the representative sounded very unapologetic and she obviously didn’t care, just told me to take a photo of the parking receipt that I ended up parking to prove that I didn’t park at the one I reserved ( don’t they have a way to check????) , then they would refund me, and maybe refund the money I end up paying extra. Anyway, I sent them the photo of my parking receipt. They scheduled a refund to me, but just the amount they charge me, not the extra I paid because their mistake. I deleted this app right after this experience and would never use it again.
