Lack of improvements and creativity. Tired of the GRIND. – War Dragons Review

I’ve been playing this game for two years. It’s definitely addictive, especially in the beginning. After awhile though, you begin to notice all the ways this game tries to drain every penny from you. If you don’t have an elite account, it takes forever to breed new dragons, level up dragons etc etc. There’s a huge grind element to the game on a daily basis to be able to continue to obtain better dragons. Game play basically consists of attacking bases with various layouts. After awhile, every base becomes the same and there’s nothing interesting about it. I guess the one positive is there is a big community and your team can really help you advance. Chatting is a big feature of the game for sure. But I think overall, the biggest disappointment is the lack of change in the game. Game content updates are almost solely seasonal dragons/riders, but nothing else changes. And once a season is over with, you can never breed or level up those dragons again. The graphics remain the same, there’s hardly ever any new features introduced into the game (other than Atlas which is beyond confusing, and in essence a whole different game within itself) there’s so much room for improvement in this game, but all it will ever be is more dragons to obtain and occasionally a new tower to build. And don’t get me started on the lack of organization With Runes and glyphs. I think overall I’m just disappointed that this game doesn’t really continue to evolve or improve much, despite the ton of money that they’re making from players. Why not give players a chance to preview dragons before we spend all of our seasonal tokens on them? How’s about re-releasing past seasonal dragons? Change the way we view hitting bases. So many improvements needed.
