Buggy – ELLE Magazine UK Review

Whether it is worth $6/month is another matter.... whether it the app works properly, downloads, and manages content properly, are what I think mtter. And in that department, I have to say "No." I was using it, but had trouble downloading 2 out of 3 subscriptions. Does not download in background. Thought that was the point of Newstand to begin with. Your email and credentials are verified with their server each and every time. Their server was down, too. Newstand Library doesn't show purchased content, it shows all available content. It is a stretch of the imagination to even consider using on iPhone or iPod Touch. Needs 7" or larger tablet/iPad. If you made a mistake with entering email, pswd etc you can't 'go back' to edit a field, only "Done" is available. I registered and bought a magazine, then learn that I have to register for PixelImg services also that manages Hearst Publishing. Should be clearer. If they need subscribers to bring down the cost, they need a much better app to do so or they are hurting their own chances. Seems $3-5 for a magazine that is delivered electronically vs the cost of shipping and distribution would be LESS not more than its physical counter-part. Zero Stars, but no I don't "Hate"
