Needs to be better – Adventure Academy Review

Starts out wonderfully, but glitches caused us to miss out on a bunch of quests from about level 12 to level 26. After level 6 no other section opens up. Now at level 30 it’s stated that the user has graduated even though the pier section is still hidden and shop items for level 40 are visible. Now at level 30, the xp that was being accumulated over several days has to be accumulated in one log in session otherwise it starts back at zero. 3600 xp are needed to get to the next level, whatever that may be. But that would take about 8 hours to earn at a kiosk in one log in session. I’m not letting my child be online for that long. Also it would likely kick him out after 30 minutes so the xp would reset anyway. It would be nice to have the accumulative Xp again so it can be earned in several days. We’ve been at level 30 for a month now and all it offers is doing running races to earn coins to go shopping. There’s no point in doing kiosk work anymore if the xp can’t be saved. So we went from a great educational game with a ton of glitches to a shopping game now. Also, beware of chat. In the evenings the chat becomes very hostile and bullying occurs. I’ve written to the customer service and sent screenshots, but they only suggested to just block those users. They NEED a chat moderator. You are asking a lot of children to not get pulled into bullying and be mature enough to essentially walk away while the problem players get to continue to cause havoc. This game can be better, but it is obvious they weren’t ready for users who could advance quickly. And having the chat open is helpful, but I’m not sure it’s worth the chance of subjecting my child to anyone and any behavior of those who are playing.
