Micro transaction infested game – Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation Review

This game used to be one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! there was, now it’s infested with micro transactions and the game offers little to no support if you have any issues. At 4.99 for a deck and 0.99 for a support pack this game has probably over 100 or so of these micro transactions. But hey, their reasoning behind it is totally cool, on their website it says this: “Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards in the Support Packs and Decks are only available through real money transaction, but hey… they’re worth it!”. So yeah hey, 4.99 for a deck of digital cards that you lose as soon as somethings happens to your account, totally worth it! I wouldn’t mind having some but this is just insane. Sure you can go F2P but then you also have to accept that the majority of the cards will be locked behind this gigantic paywall. So if you’re looking for a fun game and are a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! I would not recommend it. You might have some fun for the first 15 minutes all until you want to make your own deck and realise that most of the cards you need are locked behind that paywall. Chances of them removing these paywalls are extremely slim as they have this kind of thing on most of their other games too.
