Completely broken account management – adidas Running: Walk & Run App Review

I just received an email stating that they’re updating the terms and service and since I no longer use Runtastic I decided to delete my account. I go to the web site, find a help article on how to delete it (it’s buried under “Export”) and find out I can’t delete it because they think I haven’t confirmed my email. That’s surprising since they just sent me a password reset email which I used to log in. Okay, fine, send me another confirmation email. Except you can’t send it from the web. Okay, let me engage with customer support. Nope, you can’t do that unless you confirm your email. So since I now have to download an app just to delete an account, they get the 1 Star Award for Sleaziest Account Management.
