Not the company that it used to be – Survey Merchandiser Review

This company does not value merchandisers enough to pay them on time. Most recent example: I worked on 8/5/19 & 8/6/19, doing grocery resets, hired by Survey, representing CA Fortune Sales & Marketing, working with a UNFI Grocery rep, in a Lucky’s Market. The work for both days was approved on/around 8/16/19. I requested payment, and received notification that I would be paid by 11:59 pm on 8/23/19, which is the end of the pay period. I checked my account on 8/24/19, and no money had been deposited. I checked my email and the app for a message notifying me of a reason for the delay. There was nothing. I sent a message asking why I was not paid. I got a reply with an apology, and was told that I would be paid that day. The exact words were “any minute now”. Almost immediately I received another message saying that I would instead be paid Monday. I checked my account on Monday at 2:00 pm, and no money had been deposited and there was no communication from Survey. I messaged them 3 times before I got a ridiculous message saying “ Please be advised that you should receive your payment between Tuesday 8/27/19 and Wednesday 8/28/19”. Also that they were working faster to pay me. Faster than what exactly? Payroll employees at Survey should be working around the clock so that everyone gets paid on time. If payments are not going to be made on time, they need to get in front of the situation, and message the ones affected by the delay. There have been a lot of merchandisers not paid on time this year. This. Is. Unacceptable.
