ADs ADs and MORE ADS – theCHIVE Review

Joined TheChive from early on and my how things have changed... sad... I normally don’t write reviews but the fact the app insisted on playing an ad, in a different language, at full volume (even tho I’m muted) and no way to stop it, led me to write one. I’m not stupid that one needs revenue but the pop up ads and non stop loud af ones too make this an unbearable user experience. Plus, I don’t need to be bombarded with the terrible, lack of creativity TheChivary shoves down your throat. Remember when they use to sell out of the classic and Irish “Keep Calm and Chive On” shirts?? Good times but they are gone... Stopped following them on IG as well as they have become ClickBait and the new Buzzfeed. Only thing keeping them afloat is I guess theChiveTV which is bizarre as well. Why watch YouTube at a bar when I’m there to drink and socialize?? Just one of many of their business adventures pending failure (remember they had beer?) Probably the WORST app in the world.
