Not okay – Kurbo by WW (Weight Watchers) Review

I spent 18 years on and off Weight Watchers. In that time I learned that food—and my body—were enemies I had to constantly fight. I hated myself and my body because I always gained the weight back. My eating became incredibly disordered and eventually a friend approached me to say they thought I had an eating disorder. They were right. I have two young girls and I can’t imagine wanting them to go through this. Health is great—this app isn’t about health, it’s about losing weight. Making food the enemy (and punishing yourself for eating) is a disaster waiting to happen. WW doesn’t care about you or your children. Their intent is to create customers for life. Please don’t start your kids down that road.
