What happened to the rotate buttons underneath the rotate mode – Free to Fit: Color block puzzle logic stack dots Review

We have been playing this game for some time and now the rotate buttons are gone and we cannot do anything with the pieces except put them on the board could you please answer what happen with the rotate mode. thank you. Crowbird
