First ‘word of the day’ was a man’s last name – Advanced Dictionary&Thesaurus Review

It was 3 stars and I have downgraded it to 1 and I am deleting this app off my iPad because your opened first page is positively hideous. Really? Your very first Word of the Day is a man’s last name? Unimpressed - not much to define there. And the first word of the day is unchanged. Colouring - of an awful light blue shade of background and white is hideous and distracting and the page doesn’t fit the screen. I’m hoping now that I purchased ad free and rated this - these obnoxious boxes will disappear because I can’t close them or ignore them because they are so large. Guess what - They don’t disappear. They take up over half the screen. Every time I open this app this is what I look at. There is nothing about this that I would recommend to anyone. Settings?
