Solid poker gaming experience – PokerStars Play – Texas Holdem Review

I have been working my way up through the ranks. I have found that you did get discernible difference in quality of players - generally speaking, as you play up against more established or experienced players. (I mention this because you often have to wonder if you aren’t just playing “Bots”. I have had several .. minor-ish problems: Once, I and another player “FoxyXYZ?” (I’m TC1228).. somehow “shared” profiles for a while - and HE benefitted from my playing because once I saw that the userID wasn’t mine - I figured out how to log into my proper profile. PROBLEM? - I lost the chips I had accumulated (just north of 1 MM, at that time.) Another problem: I have seen other users have actual pictures of themselves in their profile image. I wrote asking how I could do the same. I was instructed to log in using FaceBook. I don’t use FaceBook! But that should not be an obstacle, in my view. (When I had originally written about this matter - I even anticipated some “gotcha” so I had attached my jpg picture to my e-mail (if I remember correctly - and had asked the help-desk people to attach it...) Finally, I minor-ish short-coming of the program - I have seen that Russian regularly are able to be quite a range of bets at all assorted levels of gaming. I, on the other hand, am restricted to rather large “lumpy” bets.. that is ONLY in big-blind increments. I REALLY feel that it is a legitimate “need” to be able to tweak your bets, sometimes - so as to influence play. I can’t do this because... I have to bet in “lumpy”... finite bet-increments. Oh - one other matter - I play on my tablet. I find that typing even very short messages to other players is VERY cumbersome.. (I have to: click on my icon, click on the keyboard, THEN try to quickly type a message. Can - might - the developers make it so that composing messages is easier? ... OR.. how about allowing us to customize some canned messages WE can choose from? Our OWN messages... (you provide us some, already - but.. e.g., let me select, “You are SUCH a calling station!” Or... “That was MY play!”... you get the idea... Thanks for the fun! Josh
