Non-transferable from google to apple – Pinkfong Tracing World Review

I purchased this and other pinkfong apps on google play store and I’m unable to transfer the purchase to my new iPad. Do I seriously have to buy the app again? My kids love the app but I’m not spending more money on it. I’d rather spend the money on a new app.
