Used to be five stars – Inquirer.com: Philly Local Review

The previous version had an ad at the end of every article. Fine. A newspaper generates its revenue by selling ad space. However, the current version sticks an ad in after every paragraph of every article. If a print paper did that, no one would bother to read it. Worse, content scrolling locks up until the next paragraph's ad loads, even if it is the same ad over and over, which it usually is. As with too many appa, greed has destroyed rhe usability of this app. The only reason I gave three stars is that the editorial content, if you can lad and rea it, is high quality. Unbridled ad spew has cost you at least two readers.
