Beautiful but Basic – Killing Killers Lite Review

The art and animation in this game are just great. Varied and entertaining deaths abound as you slay murderous convicts with your trusty slingshot. The problem is that there's not much to it. There are multiple environs and unlockable weapons, but none of them affect the gameplay (each background is a blank field and all attacks are one-shot kills). Every new unlock is a mere visual change, so there isn't a huge impetus to keep one playing. You only ever face one enemy at a time at ever-increasing speeds. To have larger waves and the weapons to deal with them would make for a much more compelling experience. As it stands, this is a really nice animation and creativity demo reel that is fun for a limited time.
