Update of previous review – Walk Watch - GPS Walking Computer for tracking, mapping and fitness Review

If you are a new user downloading this app it probably earns three or four stars. If you are a veteran user of the previous version you should be aware this "update" will destroy your exercise history! If you feel you must install the upgrade, be sure to use the backup and restore function in "more" at the bottom right of the main screen. Hopefully, when the new version wipes your data you can restore it with this feature. I continue to rate this a one-star app simply because the developers failed to warn us the new version is wholly incompatible with data saved in the older version. I lost six months of run and walk data, a frustrating experience to say the least.
