Lacking – Klamath Herald and News Review
It seems that every time H&N attempts to the transfer of news via electronic means they spend more time floundering than succeeding. This app is a step in the right direction but lacks in several severe ways:
-No support for subscriber access to the full paper
-No iPad support
-No landscape orientation support
-Limited news categories & news placed in categories where that news doesn't even belong
-No paid app option or download/sign-in option to remove ads from the application
Like the online edition rendered by Olive Software this app is not powerful enough, or user-friendly enough, for me to be willing to use it on a daily basis.
I simply want a way to read a copy of the newspaper on my mobile devices without having to deal with a terrible user-interface. If the development of this app follows true to form for H&N it'll probably be a long time before we see the support for paying subscribers which should be automatically rendered by H&N.
