Educational, Colorful and Addicting App for Preschoolers – Spot the Dot Review

As the mother of two preschoolers who thoroughly enjoy the other Ruckus Media Group Apps and David Carter's books I was excited to give this app a try. I downloaded it and handed the iPad off to my 5 year old without any instruction. Because it is narrated he was able to complete all the levels without any input from me. He knows his shapes and colors, but he enjoyed the challenge of trying to find the dot especially on the more challenging levels and it was nice for me to be able to give him an app that forced him to listen to the instructions then apply it to the task. Though it would be great to see even more challenging levels in the future. It is the perfect app for my 3 year old. She needs an adult or her brother at her side to complete some of harder levels, but after some initial guidance from me she was able to solve the easier levels on her own. It is great for reinforcing her colors and ability to follow instructions. The variety of shapes and colors make this a great learning tool for me and my kids think it is a lot of fun so I can definitely see us playing this frequently.
