Fatal Bug Killed my iPad! – TouchPal Emoji Keyboard Review

There’s a bug in the app that has resulted in my iPad being a brick (unusable). If you have a TouchPal keyboard active and it sends you a message that you need to read the privacy policy and you don’t do it before Apple gives you an “Activation Required” message, your iPad will be unusable. You will get a message from TouchPal to read the privacy policy but you won’t be able to do that until you activate your iPad (and you can’t do that until you read the privacy policy because you won’t get a keyboard so you can enter your Apple ID). You will be in an endless loop where you click one button and get the other message and back again. I tried to do a factory reset and couldn’t even get that to work. It just brings me back to the activation screen. I’m about to call Apple but not sure what they can do to help me at this point.
